Our story takes place a year after the events of Deathly Hallows..
Hogwarts has been rebuilt, and many of those who fought in the War are returning to the school, while others are beginning their careers. The majority of the Death Eaters have been imprisoned in Azkaban, though some still elude the Ministry's Aurors.
After the Battle of Hogwarts, Kingsley Shacklebolt was named the temporary Minister of Magic during the Rebuilding, and has just recently been officially and permanently voted in to the position. Rudford Dolbridge, who was among the aurors who fought on the side of the Order, has been appointed to the position of Head of the Auror Department.
A sort of peace is finally settling in to the wizarding world, amid the post-War frenzy of rebuilding and reformation. But tensions are still high between those whose families were allied with Voldemort, and those who fought to defeat the Dark Lord. Spats are still breaking out, from the Wizengamot courtroom to the courtyard of Hogwarts. One thing's for certain - the Wizarding world is never without drama..
