-Try your best to be as descriptive as possible. What do you smell? What do you hear? What is around you? What do you notice? How is the weather? By doing so you have a complete thought and people have more to reply to. Also the conversation flows well and your post will probably end up with at least 300 words. If you have 300 or more words chances are you were very descriptive.
-there is a 150 word count for NON OOC boards. This will enhance your writing skills and after awhile you will get used to it. If you feel you cant meet 150 words for a thread.. TRY try try. Think of smells and everything around you. Think of the voices you hear..the voices you dont hear. You can do it! [taken into action 7/26/2010]
-Once you create your character you have a week to write a bio. If you don't write a bio within a week we will move your application to the "archieves" board. Once we move it to the archieves that means you need to PM us to ask if your character is stilll available. If it is a cannon we may not have it anymore so try and get your applications done as soon as possible. [taken into action 7/29/2010]
- Cannon characters must log in at LEAST ONCE every week. If you go on vacation, you need to let someone know. We will put you on a wait list if you do not log in within a week and after two weeks of not logging in..without an explanation as to why, we will let someone else have your cannon character. -Try not to use foul language as much. Being this is a Harry Potter forum and Ron is known to say "Bloody Hell" you can say some foul language. But the F word or other explicit words, just don't do it.
- Encourage friends to come here and join in on the Roleplay! It is not a rule but it would give you kudos.
- *Each site you advertise on earns you house points
*Each person who says they were recruited because of you earns you 50 house points. Im serious folks! So advertise and win yourselves some easy points
-Please stick with the plot and try to be similar characteristic wise to the house you are given (if you are hufflepuff..be more quiet and nice, slytherin more angry and class clownish..you get the point)
-DO NOT respond to anyone!! ANYONE asking you for personal information, please report them to me if anyone asks you PERSONAL info!
-If someone says they are the "admin" meaning me and are on a different name, ignore them and report them to me. I will not be on different name unless I let anyone know, right now I am just the "admin" and "Leaha Weling" (I won't do any admin functions with Leaha though, she is just a student).
---Or if they say they are "Co-Admin" or Official Graphics Designer or anything and that has not been verified by know staff such as Blake-Admin or Skylark (Alice Cullen and Hermione Granger)-Co-admin/Official Graphics designer REPORT THEM AT ONCE!
-Look under the Who plays who board to find out if we have more than one character.
-When you register sign yourself up to be added to the board.
-You may have more then 1 character (No more then 4 [unless you can keep them very active. If you can be active PM us and we may let you have more than 4 and only 2 cannons unless other wise notifiedby staff, this doesnt mean four on each account you make just four characters in all! ).
But please make them active, if they seem to not be all active I will delete the nonactive ones, and keep your active one, I will Pm you with a warning though.
-Do not apply to be a cannon character if you can't be active. The responsibility might be too much for you.
-You can have either one account for all your charaters or an account for each which ever one you want but please dont make random accounts that you'll never use! (Secret phrase= Chemistry rocks) [updated 7/29]
-Follow the steps to being a student as much as you can, If you want to be a staff member follow the steps as a staff, steps of being a student are in the "Charter Board". So is other info.
-This site is being redone as of 6/6/2011.
If you have any suggestions, please let us know. Also, we will not start classes until we have at least 20 active members.
-Please abide all these rules I am subjected to change them at any given moment, and if I do you Will know and be directed to re-read all the rule's again. I will highlight in RED what I updated and what the date is that I updated it on. That way you can easily see what is new.
-There are secret words through out the Rules and Charter you will need them later to show you have read all the necessary rules and ect.
