Character History:
Aro had shown interest in the twins for many years, but decided to wait until they were old enough to turn them. But when the whole village in which Jane and Alec were living at the time (probably around 1200-1400 AD) believed them to be witches and tried to burn them at the stake, Aro was forced to destroy it, and turn them into vampires immediately. They are the smallest and youngest (approximately 12-13 years old) as well as the most valued members of the guard due to their incredibly powerful gifts.
It is said that they are probably one of the most powerful vampires in the world, and have the ability to take down anything regardless of size.
Since their joining the coven, the group rarely had to engage in actual fighting — the siblings’ skills allow for the outright slaughter of their enemies. When attacking the Romanian Coven, Alec and his twin sister Jane, gained the name 'Witch Twins'.
It is probable, since the Southern Vampire Wars and the Immortal Children were after the Volturi took control, that Alec would have been part of helping stop them, or a defender against a later attack by the Romanians in a bid to reclaim their stolen thrones.
RP example (2 paragraphs):
A trickle of blood ran down his pale white lips, which were now a dark wine red. As the excess blood was licked off, his tongue ran over his lips, showing his razored teeth partially. His red eyes were no longer the coal black they were previous to his hunger. Alec stood up, and threw his head back to look at the sun peaking through the cracks above him. Dark black hair flew behind him, as a gust of wind rushed by.
Alec took in every particle, every scent in the air, no humans were around. Finally quenched his thirst on a lone human male, it wouldn't have mattered. Deciding to clear his mess, Alec stood over his quarry. In no particular hurry, he lifted his foot until it hovered inches from the childs neck. With a light tap, Alec delighted himself in hearing the resounding crack, the breaking of bones. The students death could now be blamed for the simplistic accident resulting in a broken neck.
Finding no reason to stick around any longer, Alec reajusted his tie as took casual steps across the crisp ground towards the wide oak doors of the ancient school. As he walked up the worn stone steps, Alec turned, looking up into the brilliance of the opaque moon hanging in the darkened sky. Still quite a few hours before the sun would even begin to rise. Sitting along the steps, Alec took out a book, and began to read.
